In November of 2021, Select Health Insurance started sending out letters to covered members that will limit access to important medication for the treatment of HIV. This policy is only impacting members in Nevada. They intentionally did not include their members in Utah and Idaho. This policy is a clear example of institutional racism, which is a term that refers to a form of racism that is embedded in the laws and regulations of a society or an organization. It manifests as discrimination in areas such as criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, education, and political representation. Nevada has the 5th highest rate of new HIV infections in the US. We cannot stand by and let one profit hungry entity put the lives of any Nevadans at risk. Help send a message to Select Health that EVERY Nevadan is important, and to follow their own value statement which is publicly displaced on their website. In remember of the 40+ years we've been fighting HIV and its associated stigma, lets send a clear message that Nevada does not tolerate discrimination by asking the Nevada Insurance Commission to revoke the license to sell insurance in Nevada for all Select Health Products

Testimonials
I moved to Las Vegas in July of 2021 and immediately was able to get an appointment. I had been going to a clinic like this back in KC and was happy to find the Huntridge Family Clinic. The staff is very caring and through, always respectful and willing to help. I would also add that 1 am an older client. I feel that while most everyone is much younger than I am the nurses, PAs and Doctors were knowledgeable of issue facing men over 60. This was an important factor in finding a new medical clinic. As I age I want to have a medical facility where people understand and can help support me. I highly recommend the Huntridge Family Clinic.
